Quality Swing Big Band charts are notoriously hard to come by, especially if you want to look deeper than the "Greatest Hits" of the era. That's why we're recreating the best popular dance music ever made, one bandleader at-a-time.

For our first collection, we reproduced many of the famous recordings by Swing Era Savoy Ballroom bandleader William Henry "Chick" Webb, and those charts are current available here. Our second collection features the music of Jimmie Lunceford. Our third collection is a double feature of the Lionel Hampton Orchestra as well as his All Stars and other smaller groups, and is being added to the site currently one tune at a time as we acquire the appropriate rights. Our fourth and latest collection features the music of Erskine Hawkins. Our fifth collection, featuring the music of Earl Hines, will be available after the charts make their debut at Lindy Focus 2026.
